The Griswolds ‘Beware The Dog’ – The Song of the Week for 9/1/2014

Released August 1, 2014 via Wind-Up Records, “Beware The Dog” is the 1st single off of Be Impressive, the debut album by The Griswolds

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, The Griswolds are a pure party-pop mixed with a slight alternative edge. Debut album Be Impressive is…pretty impressive with a particularly strong first half of the record thanks to songs such as “16 Years”, “Beware The Dog” and “Down And Out”. I can see this band touring with a band like Grouplove or even a straight up pop group.

Lead single “Beware The Dog” might be the best song the band has in their arsenal, at least so far. This could surely be a top 10 alternative music hit (the song is currently #20 as of this writing).
