Cold War Kids ‘All This Could Be Yours’ – The Song of the Week for 1/5/2015

Released July 15, 2014 via Downtown Records, “All This Could Be Yours” is the 1st single off of Hold My Home, the 5th studio album by Cold War Kids

Cold War Kids is an indie rock band from Long Beach, CA. Their new album and 5th overall, Hold My Home, is perhaps their best album since their 2006 debut Robbers & Cowards but who’s counting? It seems like with each release the band inches a little closer to mainstream success, assuming that is their goal. The single “Miracle Mile” off their last album is their best charting single to date, peaking at #22 on Billboard’s Alternative Rock Charts. “All This Could Be Yours” peaked at #36 and I have a feeling the follow-up single “First” might be their most successful single yet. I guess we will have to wait and see. Just a little prediction there. Check out the official audio for “First” below. As of this writing, a video has not been released for the song yet.
