J Roddy Walston and the Business ‘Take It As It Comes’ – The Song of the Week for 12/29/2014

Released via ATO Records, “Take It As It Comes” is the 2nd single off of Essential Tremors, the 3rd full-length studio album by J Roddy Walston and The Business

J Roddy had one hell of a year! Lead single “Heavy Bells” off of their fantastic late-2013 album Essential Tremors blew up. The follow up single “Take It As It Comes” featured here is also moving up the alternative charts. Check out a live version of the song below – this band needs to be seen live, they are incredible.

“Take It As It Comes” landed at #2 on Music Trajectory’s Top 20 Underrated Songs of 2014 list and “Heavy Bells” scored the #9 spot on the Top 20 Best Songs of 2014 list. Not only did the band have two successful singles in 2014 but I would like to make the argument that Essential Tremors was one of the best albums of 2014, front to back.
