Week in Review: October 2nd through October 9th, 2016
Last week was a strong week in new music releases. This week keeps up that momentum with lots of great single and album releases. Since it is a new month, I have added this new Spotify playlist to keep track of all the best new releases here in October. New Single Releases

- Kings of Leon give us yet another taste of their highly anticipated new album WALLS with 4th single “Reverend”
- The Killers release b-side “Peace of Mind” from classic 2nd album Sam’s Town
- Bon Jovi drops yet another catchy rock song from upcoming new album This House Is Not For Sale
- Yet another single from Jimmy Eat World “You With Me” from their new album Integrity Blues
- Long standing punk band NOFX offers another listen from their new album First Ditch Effort
Song of the Week
But the new release that stood out the most this week – at least to me – is the 86 second barn burner “Buddy”, the brand new single from The Orwells. Not much is known about the new song but it can be assumed it will be a track off their third album. Their 2nd album Disgraceland

I keep an eye on all the music videos being released on Youtube. Lately I’ve noticed bands releasing new singles/videos on Youtube even before Spotify or iTunes. If its a great video and/or a highly anticipated song, it will be added to the playlist below. Subscribe, my friend!
