New track “Buddy” by The Orwells scores the Song of the Week

“Buddy” was released on October 3rd, 2016 via Autumn Tone records, accompanying an announcement of a fall tour on the east coast and a couple U.K. dates

The new release that stood out the most this week – at least to me – is the 86 second barn burner “Buddy”, the brand new single from The Orwells. Not much is known about the new song but it can be assumed it will be a track off their third album. Their last album Disgraceland came out in 2014 and featured the hit song “Who Needs You”. That song was named Song of the Week back in early February 2015.

Forgiven, not forgotten
This could be my last day
And in case I don’t see ya
I’m comin’ back in May

Movin’ on, did my time
Feelin’ fine, feelin’ fine
