Song of the Week: “House On Fire” by Rise Against

Melodic hardcore/alternative rock band Rise Against readies their 8th studio album Wolves, due out 6/9/2017 via Virgin Records. 2nd single “House On Fire” is a radio-friendly gem and the standout single released this week. Lead single “The Violence” is perhaps the better of the two songs but these two tracks lend promise to a strong album. Let’s hear from the Rise Against fans out there – what do you think of these two tracks?

So I’ll just hold you like a hand grenade
You touch me like a razor blade
I wish there was some other way right now
Like a house on fire we’re wrapped in flames
I’d burn you if that’s what it takes
To let you know I won’t let go of you
