“Gimme the Love” by Jake Bugg – The Song of the Week for March 14th, 2016

“Gimme the Love” was released on February 28th, 2016 via Island Records as the 2nd single off of On My One, the 3rd studio album by Jake Bugg

Jake Bugg is back with album # 3 and the first two singles are…interesting. If you are familiar with his music, lead single “On My One” is in the same vain as his breakthrough hit off debut album “Lightning Bolt” but 2nd single “Gimme the Love” is a bit of a left turn and much more…mainstream? Can’t tell yet. The single is definitely different than anything previously released, save maybe “What Doesn’t Kill You” – the Song of the Week back on 10/13/2014.
