Cage the Elephant release new single “Come A Little Closer” from their highly anticipated new album Melophobia

Cage the Elephant’s upcoming album Melophobia is by far one of the most anticipated rock/indie albums of the year. Their signature sound shines through lead single “Come A Little Closer” but it is evident by the first band promotional picture (seen above) and a close listen of the song that the band is growing up and progressing. This approach should keep their core fan base happy and perhaps pull in older fans of the grunge era and rock fans with a more ‘distinguished’ ear. Perhaps the song isn’t as outwardly catchy as previous single releases like “Ain’t No Rest For the Record” and “Around My Head” but it still seems like a strong lead single. Music Trajectory wishes the best of luck to this band on the album release and upcoming tour!
