“Sixteen Saltines” by Jack White is the official 2nd single from his first solo album Blunderbuss, released April 23, 2012

Genre: Blues Rock, Rock and Roll, Country Rock, Folk Rock

1st single “Love Interruption” was a toned down number which got me thinking if his solo album was going to be different than White Stripes/Raconteurs/Dead Weather but now hearing “Sixteen Saltines” gets me thinking Blunderbuss will probably be a very balanced album. After all, Jack White can do no wrong! I think I will have to write up an album review when it comes out…

Also worth checking out is a live performance of “Sixteen Saltines” on Saturday Night Live.

“Force fed, force mixed till I drop dead
You can’t defeat her, when you meet her you’ll get what I said
And Lord knows there’s a method to her madness
Bustin’ those jokes as I float in a sea of sadness”
