“Hands and Faces” by The Used – The Song of the Week for 3/19/2012
“Hands and Faces” by The Used is the 2nd single from the upcoming March 27, 2012 release of Vulnerable
Genre: Emo, Post-Hardcore, Pop Punk, Alternative Rock, Electronic Rock
Vulnerable is the follow-up to 2009’s Artwork (the very under-rated, and what I think was a come-back album for the band).
The band canceled some international tour dates in 2010 to start work on the follow-up to Artwork but the recording process was delayed when their record label Warner/Reprise went under new management. The band started their own record label Hopeless Records and Vulnerable, the band’s 5th album will be released under that label.
“How can I not taste it
When it’s right there put it in my hand
And let’s not put it in their faces
Hide the obvious just a little bit
It’s coming to this”
