Diamond Rings, real name John O’Regan, started out as a member of the post-punk group The D’Urbervilles before beginning to write songs in 2008 for a solo career as Diamond Rings. First album Special Affections was a successful debut album and got attention and positive reviews from Pitchfork, Exclaim!, and AllMusic. The followup album Free Dimensional was released October 22nd, 2012.
