Imagine Dragons “Radioactive” – The Song of the Week for 1/28/2013

With an official single released date of March 3, 2013 via Interscope Records, “Radioactive” is the 3rd single from Imagine Dragon’s debut album Night Visions

Genre: Alternative Rock, Indie Rock

Imagine Dragons is one of the hottest bands going in Indie Rock/Alternative music right now and with “Radioactive” and prior singles getting more widespread media attention, the sky is the limit for this band. Lead singer Daniel Coulter Reynolds has the type of voice and delivery that can easily propel this band to have genre crossover appeal, similar to Alex Clare’s breakout hit “Too Close” which was played on every type of radio station under the sun.

What are your thoughts on this latest single and the potential of this still very young band? Sound off in the comments section at the bottom of the post!

“I raise my flags, cut my clothes,
It’s a revolution I suppose.
We’ll paint it red, to fit right in, woah.
I’m breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus.
This is it, the apocalypse, woah.”

  1. Wow. I’m impressed!

You called this song back in January and they blew up WAY after that.

    Nailed it 🙂
