The new band Spanish Gold is getting the ‘super group’ moniker due to the band being a side project of these 3 chaps all from established bands, specifically Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket. Dante Schwebel from the San Antonio, TX band Hacienda and Adrian Quesada from the eleven-piece Grammy award winning orchestra Grupo Fantasma round out the band.

Is it me or does this song plain-and-simply kick ass? Their sound is fresh and…killer. I love it!

Look for their debut album South of Nowhere to drop on May 27, 2014.
