Wolfmother “Victorious” – The Song of the Week for February 8th, 2016

“Victorious” was released on November 19th, 2015 via Universal Records as the 1st single off Victorious, the 4th studio album by Wolfmother

Yes! Wolfmother is back! And not just back with new material – it sounds like they are back with good new material. The first 3 songs to be released off of the upcoming new album are all solid and sound reminiscent of the beloved first album. Lead singer Andrew Stockdale discusses this vibe in this interview were he mentions the new album is definitely a “return to roots” with lots of “big riffs”. I still don’t know what happened with the 3rd album. The before-mentioned debut was stellar and follow up Cosmic Egg was great as well. Hopefully this new album is in the same zenith.
